About Me

Melissa is professor of biology and social work, an intuitive psychotherapist, subtle energy scientist, sound healer, yoga teacher, past life regression therapist, speaker, writer, activator and spiritual entrepreneur. She has lead children, families and professionals on a path to healing and discovering their core essence for over 20 years.  Given her vast knowledge, intuitive abilities and her undying passion to heal, she has guided thousands of souls on their journeys to wellness. Melissa is the creator of a sacred program entitled Spiritual Bootcamp© that equips beginner and experienced healers with ancient modalities and tools to transmute darkness into light.

Melissa has worked in a variety of mental health and school settings with children, adolescents and adults throughout New York City and Long Island. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Hunter College, she went on to work in residential foster care where she pioneered a specialized program to serve at-risk foster care youth, formerly placed in out of state facilities.  Over time, Melissa went on to earn a Master's Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. While serving as Director of Social Services for SCO Family of Services, a leading social service agency, Melissa worked as a psychotherapist in mental health settings specializing with children and families.  Her desire for increased direct contact led her to become a school social worker at a local public High School.  During her tenure, she also worked as a per-diem medical social worker at Winthrop University Hospital.  A Certified School Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Melissa served as an Executive Board Member for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, volunteering for over ten years. After the birth of her two daughters, Melissa discovered Waldorf Education and the teachings of Rudolf Steiner, and left the mainstream education.  She began providing counseling and consultation at the Waldorf School of Garden City where she also taught their health curriculum.  This supported Melissa's shift from major medical model to integrative and holistic healing.  At Adelphi University's Melissa teaches biology and social work, supporting the future healers of the world and introducing them to ancient and alternative healing modalities.

In addition to being a prominent child and family therapist, Melissa has presented at numerous schools and conferences speaking on the topics of mindfullness, managing stress, suicide prevention, balancing technology, connecting children with nature and spirituality.

Recognized as a visionary by her peers with her innate ability to connect, lead, and organize the light workers of the world, her  mission is to birth a new nation built on love, light and freedom.

Most recently she debuted as the keynote speaker at Cassadega Spiritualist Camp as Theia, the titan Goddess of Sight and Ether, sharing her heroic journey to cosmic consciousness, inspiring others to create a blueprint to live their own miraculous life. Memoir to follow soon.
